Excerpt from His New Wine: chapter 13
2 Cor. 5:17-21 states :
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:
we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The new wine, the new and better covenant, is the new way purchased by the blood of Jesus, it is not a way of works, but a free gift and we all love gifts. This gifting of the precious Holy Spirit to all that would accept Jesus as Savior has granted to those who receive Him a change of status.
Once, we were strangers, servants, and sinners, alienated from the grace of God, but when the decision was made to accept Jesus as Lord, those who did were adopted into God’s family and received a new position.
Chapter 13 of His New Wine by D.Nicome details the benefits of the free gift of grace because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in and with the children of God. Let’s look at some of them found in the book of Ephesians, chapters 1-4, which in turn leads us to so many other related promises and attributes.
